      <p class="para_topic">When working on an assembly, you can assign or copy an attribute from an object occurrence to an object's prototype. The following procedure explains how.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open an assembly.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select an occurrence of an object that has attributes associated with it.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open the <b class="uiTerm">Properties</b> dialog box using any of the methods listed under <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('managing_a_part/edt_prop_open_p.html');return(false);">Opening the Properties dialog box</a>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Feature Attributes</b> tab.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Apply to Component Part</b> check box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> or <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">When you apply the attributes to the prototype, all occurrences inherit them.</p>
