      <p class="para_topic">Use the Line Image icons to select from one of the following Reflection types:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Black Lines</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Black and White Lines</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Colored Lines</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Black Lines</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option creates reflections on surfaces that are composed of black lines. Black reflection lines are useful in the analytical evaluation of surfaces and in finding surface defects.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The system offsets black reflection lines from one other at a distance you specify in the Number of Lines field. You can also specify the pattern in which the system constructs the black reflection lines: Horizontal, Vertical, or Both (a grid). See the Orientation option. you can also specify the width of the black reflection lines: Thin, Normal, or Thick. See the Width fields.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  When working with Black Lines and you set the Width to Normal or Thick or set the Orientation to Both, you cannot assign a value of 256 to Number of Lines. This prevents black line reflections from becoming so wide that they completely obscure the surface, rendering the Black Lines option useless.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Black and White Lines</div>
      <p class="para_division">This image type displays the selected object in two colors: black and white, providing smooth transitions between curves and reflection lines. Use this image type to find defects in surfaces or to achieve certain types of curves. Like black and colored reflection lines, the black and white reflection lines are useful in the analytical evaluation of surfaces and in finding surface defects.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Thickness option is disabled for the Black &amp; White Lines image type because it interferes with the smooth transition required by this image type. However, you can control the reflection with the Number of Lines field. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Using the Black &amp; White Lines Image Type</div>
      <p class="para_division">To reflect smooth transitioning black and white lines off of surfaces: </p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Analysis&rarr;Face&rarr;Reflection. This displays the Face Analysis - Reflection dialog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the faces that you want to participate in the reflection.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If not already selected, select the Line Images icon.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Black &amp; White lines image type.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Apply or OK.  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ana_reflect_bw_morph.gif" border="0"></p>

      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Colored Lines</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option creates reflections on surfaces using a series of eight, contrasting colors. Like black reflection lines, colored reflection lines are useful in the analytical evaluation of surfaces, and in finding surface defects.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Each colored stripe is considered one reflection line. If you specify eight lines, the system displays eight stripes of reflecting color lines. If you select sixteen reflection lines, the system repeats each of the eight colored stripes twice. If you specify 32 lines, the system repeats each of the eight colored stripes four times. If you specify one line, the system displays one reflecting color stripe for the entire selected surface. To specify the number of lines, see the Number of Lines option.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can also specify the pattern in which the system constructs the colored reflection lines: Horizontal or Vertical. See the Orientation option. The Width option does not apply to Colored Lines and is not available.</p>
