      <p class="para_topic"> This option is a quick, accurate method for selecting connected objects. You select the beginning and ending objects and the system selects all objects in between.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Chain Start</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Select the first object to start the chaining sequence. Select on the appropriate side of the first object's control point to designate the chaining direction. To reselect the object, select Back.</p>

      <div class="title_division"> Chain End</div>
      <p class="para_division"> You can indicate the chain end two ways:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> If the objects form a closed area, such as a rectangle, and share a common start and end point, click OK. The system automatically selects all the connecting objects to form a closed boundary.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> If the objects to be chained do not form a closed area, select a chain ending point with the cross hairs or by entering the object name. The system chains the objects from the start object to the end.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division"> After the chaining is completed, click OK to display the boundary indicators for the boundary selected.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body"> Chaining works even if some objects in the chain are no longer visible in the view from zooming or panning operations. For the chain to work, the start and end objects must be visible.</p>
