      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Update your view's background, reflections, lighting, and stage setup automatically using predefined scenes. A scene is a collection of visualization settings that together determine the way your model is displayed. NX gathers defined settings into a single location and automates many of the tasks required to create a realistic visualization </p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">You can apply scene attributes to views without a license, however, to see all the scene effects you must switch to the studio display rendering style (this requires the studio visualize license) or HQI (this requires the ug_photo license). </p>

      <div class="title_division">Set up your scene</div>
      <p class="para_division">The following procedures assume the following:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You already have a part open.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Rendering Style has been set to <b class="uiTerm">Studio</b>: 
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Visualization</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Visual </b>tab&rarr;From the <b class="uiTerm">Rendering Style</b> menu, choose <b class="uiTerm">Studio</b>.
            </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Click the <b class="uiTerm">System Visualization Scene</b> tab <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/gateway/basic_scene_editor/select_from_image_palette.gif" border="0">.

            </p>

      <div class="title_division">Edit your scene</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Visualization</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Basic Scene Editor</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the <b class="uiTerm">Background</b> tab.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">From the Background menu, choose <b class="uiTerm">Image File</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For the Background Image, click one of the following:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Select Image File</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/gateway/basic_scene_editor/select_image_file.gif" border="0"> allows you to use <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('visualizing_a_part/vie_vis_create_new_scn_p.html');return(false);">scenes that you have already created</a>.
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Select from Image Palette</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/gateway/basic_scene_editor/select_from_image_palette.gif" border="0"> allows you to use NX default scenes.
                  </p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the scene you want and press <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Make further adjustments to your scene using the <b class="uiTerm">Lights</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Stage</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Reflection</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Image-Based Lighting</b> tabs.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Save your edits as a new scene</div>
      <p class="para_division">When you are satisfied with all of your edits, you can capture all the scene characteristics of the current work view and generate a new visualization scene that you can later drag into other views.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Go to any user palette:</p>
            <ul>

            <p class="para_item">Right mouse click&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">New Entry</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Visualization Scene</b>.
