      <p class="para_topic"> The Line Tool defines a line when you are performing certain NX operations. For example, you would use the Line Tool when using the Rotate About a Line option in the Transformations dialog (Edit&rarr;Transform&rarr;Rotate About Line).</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Line Definition Methods</div>
      <p class="para_division"> When the function you are in enters the Line Tool, the system will ask you to select one of the following methods for defining a line:</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Defines a line using a start point and a vector. When you select this option, the system prompts you to define the start point using the Point Constructor. Next, it prompts you to select a vector using the Vector Constructor.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body"> After you have defined a line using one of the above options, the system displays a temporary line, similar to temporary points displayed using the Point Constructor. To remove any temporary lines defined using the Line Tool, refresh the display.</p>
