      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Creating a visualization settings template file is easy. You can create a visualization settings template file using any of the following starting points: </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">An open part</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">An NX-provided &quot;industry standard&quot; template file</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Your own existing template file that already contains many or most of the visualization settings that you want</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">To create a visualization settings template from a part:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open a part file.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open a standard NX palette if one exists. If one doesn't exist, you can create one. See <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('intro_to_nx/uiu_ab_pal_g_standard_p.html');return(false);">Creating a Standard Palette</a>.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Place the cursor in the palette area but not on an item and click MB3.</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">New Entry</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Visualization Template</b>. This displays the Visualization Template Generator dialog.

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To create a template containing all visualization attributes for the current part and session, continue to the next step. To create a template that contains a subset of these attributes, make modifications using the dialog.             <p class="para_item">Accept the default template name or enter a new one.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>. This saves the settings to a visualization settings template in the current palette.
            </p>

      <p class="para_topic">If you create more than one template in a standard palette using the palette manager's default naming scheme, the system creates multiple palettes with the same name.</p>
