      <div class="title_division">Prerequisite</div>
      <p class="para_division">Before you can use this procedure, the Motif windowing system must already be running on your system.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Starting NX</div>
      <p class="para_division">To start NX or one of its support modules using the Motif-based startup menu: </p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the following on the command line: $UGII_ROOT_DIR/ugmenu This displays the Motif NX Activity Menu. This menu allows you to start NX and its support modules, display parameters, configure your license, and start and stop NX processes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Double-click an entry in the Available Products list box, or Highlight an entry and click Apply. This starts NX or one of its support modules. Support modules that you select start in separate windows.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Displaying Another List of Sub-Products</div>
      <p class="para_division">To display another list of sub-products:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the item in the Available Products list box. For example, select the POST (Machine Post Processing) item.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Changing the Default Display</div>
      <p class="para_division">By default, NX sets the workstation display to the current machine. To change it:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the name of the terminal from which you want to display NX in the Workstation Display field.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">UG Options Menu</div>
      <p class="para_division">Before you start NX, you can use the UG Options menu to open a specific part, start a macro, or switch to another license bundle in the current session.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To open a specific part, select Start Retrieve Part. To start a macro, select Start Retrieve Keystroke Macros. To switch to another license bundle, select Start License Options.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Switching to Another License Bundle</div>
      <p class="para_division">If it is available on your system, you can use License Options to switch to another UG License Bundle.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To switch to another UG license bundle:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">From the UG Options Menu, select Start License Options. This displays the NX Licensing Options dialog. The Available Bundles column lists the available licensing options on your system. The Bundle Details column displays the details of a highlighted licensing bundle.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a licensing package from the list of available packages at your site.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">To select a licensing bundle:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the Add and Remove buttons.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Customizing the Motif Menu</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can change the window fonts and text colors of the NX Activity menu by editing the Ugmenu10 file, found in the /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults directory. You can find valid fonts in the /usr/lib/X11/fonts directory. For a list of valid color names, see the /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt file.</p>
