      <p class="para_topic"> Open Drawing allows you to open an existing drawing by choosing from a list of previously created drawings. You can select a drawing name from the list, or type a name in the selection field. After selecting the desired drawing select Apply or OK to open the drawing. If you enter the drawing name incorrectly, an error message will appear.</p>

      <p class="para_topic"> Open Drawing Dialog</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> The Filter field in the Open Drawing dialog can be used to rapidly locate a drawing or a series of drawings in a part file. By entering a portion of a drawing name followed by an asterisk (*), and choosing the OK button, the system will perform a search, and display the desired drawing or drawings in the listing box. The drawing name can be highlighted, placed into the selection box, and opened by choosing Apply or OK.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">    This option is used to view drawings from within Gateway. If you need to modify drawings you must be in the Drafting application.</p>

      <p class="para_topic"> If the view regeneration process becomes too time consuming, you can abort it by pressing &lt;Control&gt;&lt;Shift&gt;L on UNIX, or Stop in the Work in Progress dialog on Windows.</p>
