      </table><br><p class="para_topic">When you generate a CGM file for plotting, the system applies a width to each line or curve recorded in the file. Widths can be applied according to the width index or the color index of the object.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Each displayable NX object has a color attribute that can be set to a color index between 1 and 216. Each object also has a width attribute that you can set to a width index value of thin, normal, or thick. When you plot object geometry, the system applies a color to the geometry according to the object color index. A width can be applied to line or curve geometry according to either the width index or the color index of the object.</p>
