This application is used to analyze the flow of molten plastic in an injection mold. You construct a finite element mesh on the part and describe the mold and plastic conditions. The analysis package, which may be run repeatedly to determine optimum conditions, produces both tabular and graphic results. This application saves design, mold-making, and material costs.

This application provides sophisticated, flexible and comprehensive modeling capabilities. It addresses all facets of mechanism linkage design, from concept (synthesis) to simulated prototypes (hidden surface animation). Its complete design and edit capability allows you to develop any n-link spatial mechanism, perform kinematic analysis, and present understandable analysis results in multiple formats. This application also provides an interface to third party dynamic analysis programs.

This application enables the bidirectional transfer of wireframe and solid geometry between ICAD and NX. ICAD is a knowledge based engineering system that allows for the symbolic description of product model information (physical attributes such as geometry, material types, and functional constraints) and process information (such as analysis, manufacture, and test).
