      </table><br><p class="para_topic">NX supports a single plot layout. To add plots (the display image or selected drawing sheets) to the layout: </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the File -&rarr; Plot dialog, click the Add to Plot Layout button.  The Plot Layout dialog appears.  NX computes an initial location for the plot on the layout according to the media width and plot spacing options you set in the Plot Layout dialog. In computing the initial location, NX attempts to fill roll-feed paper with plots across the width of the paper before consuming more paper in length.  See figure below:</p>

            <p class="para_item">If you select multiple drawing sheets before clicking Add to Plot Layout, the system initially displays the Plot Layout dialog for you to arrange the first selected sheet on the plot layout. When you click OK in the Plot Layout dialog, the system redisplays the dialog for you to arrange the second selected sheet, and so on, for each selected sheet.</p>
            <p class="para_item">When you click Apply in the Plot Layout dialog, the system adds the plot to the layout and then recomputes location coordinates to permit you to add another instance of the same plot to the layout.</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the location, rotation, and scale for each plot in the Plot Layout dialog as you add it to the layout. The dialog presents a diagram that shows the arrangement of plots on the layout.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set the media width option to the width of the target roll-feed media, less desired margins.  NX attempts to position a new plot adjacent to the previous plot along the width of the media, accounting for spacing, rotation, and scale. If this location causes the plot to extend beyond the specified media width, then NX positions the new plot adjacent to previous plots along the length of the media.</p>
