      <p class="para_topic"> Select existing points from among those  <em>within</em> a defined polygonal area. The polygon is oriented in the current view plane and can be constructed in any view.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division"> Eligibility for Selection</div>
      <p class="para_division"> In this option, every point inside the polygon you define is eligible for selection unless it is blanked, is on a layer that is invisible or  <em>non-selectable</em>, or is  <em>invisible</em> as a result of being outside the view boundaries. The points must also be selectable in the view of the cursor (i.e., the view in which the start and end points are selected).
      </p>
      <p class="para_division"> A maximum of 80 vertices is allowed when defining a polygon. After selecting the last vertex, click OK to connect the first and last vertices and close the polygon. The polygon can cross over itself.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Defining the Polygon</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Indicate the first vertex, then continue indicating vertices until you have defined the desired polygon.</p>
      <p class="para_division"> Next, the system prompts you to select start and end points from among the points within the polygon.</p>
