      <p class="para_topic">When you are working in Shaded Views, the <b class="uiTerm">Use Cached Facets</b> functionality significantly improves regeneration time for display of solid and sheet bodies. Note that cached facets with face references must be available in the part. Cached facets are obtained from faceted bodies associated with the corresponding solids.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">This faster display regeneration feature is off by default. You can enable it by selecting the <b class="uiTerm">Use Cached Facets</b> check box. To find the <b class="uiTerm">Use Cached Facets</b> check box, go to <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Visualization Performance</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">General Settings</b> tab &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Shaded Views</b> session settings. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">There can sometimes be minor trade-offs between speed and the quality of the resulting image. This is geometry dependent.  If precision is a higher requirement than speed, you can do one of the following: </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Incrementally improve the display where needed while the <b class="uiTerm">Use Cached Facets</b> feature is in effect using <b class="uiTerm">Update Display</b>. <b class="uiTerm">Update Display</b> (found on the <b class="uiTerm">View Popup</b> and in the <b class="uiTerm">View</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Layout</b> menu) also generates more precise facets if indicated by the display settings.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Disable the feature altogether by clearing the <b class="uiTerm">Use Cache Facets</b> check box. By doing this, you will always get precise shaded displays.
            </p>
