      <p class="para_topic">This example shows how a standard capscrew could be modeled using expressions and reference sets.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">The first step might be to define the driving parameters like the diameters and length. Thread length and other parameters can be computed from the driving parameters using expressions.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">Using the driving parameters, the first two features are a cylinder and a boss to create the basic shape.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">At this step, a body is extracted to use this simplified shape as a reference set for use in assemblies where the detailed representation is not required.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The next step is to model the socket, chamfers, and root radius.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">Two versions of thread might be used. A symbolic thread may be used for a drawing, but in pictorial illustrations, a detailed thread might be preferred. A parameter could be used to switch these thread features on and off using suppression by expression.</p>
