      <p class="para_topic">Handles appear as small dots, squares, coneheads, or doughnuts in the graphics window, generally at strategic points on the model or on other objects such as the WCS. Their purpose is to aid you in manipulating the associated geometry as needed for the current operation.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When NX displays handles, you can manipulate the geometry by selecting or dragging the handles. The effect of a drag operation on the associated geometry depends on the type of handle you have selected.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">An example of an operation that provides handles for easier manipulation is the Dynamic WCS.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Pre-Selection</div>
      <p class="para_division">As indicated above, handles are selectable; however, their selection behavior is slightly different than for normal objects. For example, when you position the selection cursor over a selectable handle, the system preselects the handle. This is the case even if other selectable geometry is closer to the center of the selection cursor. Also, when the system preselects a handle, the system does not support selection confirmation.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Handle Color</div>
      <p class="para_division">NX displays all handles using the &quot;Handles&quot; color specified in Color Settings under Visualization Preferences.</p>
