      <p class="para_topic">To save an I-deas part as a standard Parasolid file suitable for importing into Solid Edge:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose  <em>File &rarr; Interoperate...</em></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the part to export.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the file type:  <em>Parasolid XT</em>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the appropriate format for the Parasolid version.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the destination file name.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click on  <em>Export</em>.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">For example, select the format  <em>PS v13/UG 18/SE10</em>, which is used in Unigraphics version 18 and Solid Edge version 10.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The resulting Parasolid file can be inserted into a Solid Edge part using the  <em>Insert &rarr; Part Copy</em> command. The inserted body is listed as a BodyFeature in the Solid Edge feature tree.

      <p class="para_topic">When the I-deas part is modified, repeat the procedure to create another version of the Parasolid file. The new Parasolid file can be used to associatively update the previously created BodyFeature within the Solid Edge part.</p>
