      <p class="para_topic">The Feature Parameters options let you select whether or not the object's feature parameters are maintained during the export.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Causes all feature parameters in the part to be ignored during the part export operation.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Retain Internal Parameters</p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1" valign="top">
               <p class="para_td">As many feature parameters as possible are retained and included with the exported part. Feature parameters that require the presence of objects that were not selected for the export are not included.</p>
            </td>
         </tr>
         <tr>

               <p class="para_td">Retain All Parameters</p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1" valign="top">
               <p class="para_td">Includes all feature parameters in the part export, regardless of whether or not they rely on the existence or presence of other non-selected objects.</p>
            </td>
         </tr>
      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The following objects can be selected for inclusion in the new part and are fully associative if you select Retain All Parameters:</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Curves, points, splines</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Sketches</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Solid and sheet bodies</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Coordinate systems</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Datum planes and datum axes</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Views (as a result of transferring view-dependent objects, such as sketches)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Groups</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Drafting</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Tools and parameter sets (Manufacturing application objects)</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">All expressions associated with an object are exported along with the object unless Retain All Parameters is toggled to the OFF position. The only exceptions are sketch dimensions. The system always exports sketch dimensions regardless of the position of the Feature Parameters toggle buttons.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Expression Transfer Mode</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Expression Transfer Mode options let you specify whether expressions that are referenced by transferring expressions should also be transferred.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Transfers the entire expression and any referenced expressions. The expression a=b+2*c would become something like a'1=b'1+2*c'1, and b'1 and c'1 would be created as deep copies of b and c respectively.</p>

                           <p class="para_note_body"> If you are exporting expressions into a new part, its elements are not renamed, as indicated above. (e.g., a new part would not be renamed to a'1). If you are exporting to an existing part, the renaming does occur.</p>

               <p class="para_td">The system always exports inter-part expressions shallowly, even if you select the Copy if Referenced Expression Mode Transfer. The expression a=part1::b would become something like a'0=part1::b.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Transfers the expression, but not any referenced expressions. If exporting from part1 to part2, the expression a=b+2*c would become something like a'0=part1::b+2*part1::c.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  The system loads the destination part if it is not already loaded. After exporting the desired objects, the system saves and closes the destination part. If the destination part was already loaded at the beginning of the Export operation, the system neither saves nor closes the destination part. You can not click OK until you have specified a part and some geometry on that part.</p>

      <p class="para_division">If an exported object is defined by another object, the system exports that defining object as well (e.g., selecting a swept-solid causes its defining sketch or geometry to be transferred).</p>
      <div class="title_division">Limitations</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can not export an object that is only constrained by another object that is not being exported. For example, you can only export drafting annotations if all referenced geometry is also exported.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can not export objects that are defined in terms of an object that can not be exported.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you are exporting to an existing part, the existing part must be using the same units as the exporting objects.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  When the name of an exported object clashes with a name in a destination part, the system exports the object with &quot;_#&quot; appended to their name, where # is a number (i.e., VIEW1 becomes VIEW1_1). Expressions use the following method to correct the clash: &quot;expression_name&quot; would result in &quot;expression_name'#&quot;, where &quot;#&quot; is a number. The system uses this same method for importing a part.</p>
