      <p class="para_topic"> Controls whether animation is used by many functions that modify view orientation or scale, including <b class="uiTerm">Fit</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Restore</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Zoom</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Orient View</b> operations. If the option is turned off, these view changes are animated so you can watch the view smoothly transition to the new orientation and scale. If the option is turned on, view changes are not animated, and the view is immediately redisplayed at the new orientation and scale. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"> Animation makes it easier to interpret changes in view orientation or scale, but it can be noticeably slow when a large assembly is displayed. Turn on the option if the displayed assembly demonstrates poor performance for functions that modify view orientation or scale. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system does not save the <b class="uiTerm">Disable Smooth View Change</b> setting, but for each session initializes the setting according to a customer default.
