      <p class="para_topic">Assembly load options control the behavior when assemblies are opened.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When a .prt file containing an assembly is opened, the .prt files pointed to by the assembly components are loaded into the session. Assembly load options are used to:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify search directories for where .prt files are located. (When running NX in native mode.)</p>
         </li>
         <li><a name="ndxgenid_roadmap469"></a><p class="para_item">Load assemblies with no components loaded. Then load only the components you need to see, or use the command <b class="uiTerm">Open By Proximity</b> to load only components in a selected volume. 
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">This is similar to the pruning capability in I-deas. The components not loaded can be displayed as a bounding box only </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Define reference sets to control which components are loaded. For example, if some components include a reference set called &quot;wiring,&quot; you could load only components containing this reference set name. </p>

      <p class="para_topic">Load options are found in the menu <b class="uiTerm">File</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Assembly Load Options</b>.
