      <p class="para_topic"> This option renders solid and facet models in the displayed part to produce a facet-based hidden line image. It does this by computing and displaying the hidden line image from the displayed part's loaded solid and faceted objects. The Facet-based Assembly Hidden Line is generally faster than the corresponding solid-based hidden edge that is accessible via the View&rarr;Visualization pull-down menu.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> While the image is displayed, the option allows viewing changes through the Quick View Pop-Up menu. The image shows the visible edges and silhouettes from solids and/or integrated faceted models in the displayed part. You can rotate, translate and scale the hidden line rendering to obtain a desired display orientation.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">    As you apply view changes to the display using options under the Quick View Pop-Up menu, the static wireframe image becomes progressively invalid as the orientation changes from the original viewing angle. To update the hidden line rendering after an orientation change, select the Update option from the Assembly Hidden Line menu.</p>

      <p class="para_topic"> You can save the rendered display to a part file using the Save option on the Assembly Hidden Line menu. The rendered output part contains lines, arcs and ellipses in the part units of the input part.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> Exiting the Assembly Hidden Line image and menu erases the hidden line display.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> For large assemblies, the rendering time may be slow.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">    For rendering speed, Assembly Hidden Line first applies facets to visible solids not corresponding with facet models. Upon exit, Assembly Hidden Line deletes all of these created on the fly facet models.</p>

      <p class="para_topic"> For loaded assemblies that are already near a workstation's memory limit, facet-based Assembly Hidden Line may abort due to lack of memory. This is especially true if numerous solids have no corresponding facet data, which Assembly Hidden Line would generate on the fly. The alternative is to use Batch Hidden Line.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> For Associativity back to the original assembly from the output part file, separate NX Groups collect rendered geometry for each component. The group attribute value corresponds to the name of the component part that contained the model basis for the rendered geometry.</p>
