      <div class="title_division">Color attribute dependence</div>
<p class="para_division">Of the dependent attributes, the most significant are color settings. In NX, most color settings, such as Selection color or Hidden Geometry color, reference an entry in a color palette stored in the part file. For example, the Selection color might be set to seven to indicate the seventh entry in the color palette.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Why color attributes are dependent</div>
<p class="para_division">Because color settings are dependent on the color palette, if you include a color setting in a visualization settings template, the system automatically includes the associated color palette in the template, too. When you apply the visualization settings template to a part, the color settings and the color palette override the part's current settings.</p>
<p class="para_division">Also, a new color palette affects settings not included in the visualization settings template such as individual object color settings. This is because there is only one color palette in the part.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Considering attribute dependence</div>
<p class="para_division">In the typical case where all your parts share a single color palette, color palette dependence is transparent. However, in cases where color palettes vary among parts, you may have to consider dependence when creating a template.</p>
