      <p class="para_topic">Use Delete to permanently remove objects from a part file. Most objects, including solid bodies, curves, and dimensions, can be deleted.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Use the Class Selection to select the objects intended for deletion.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Please note the following:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Objects you select to be deleted must be in the graphics display area.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can restore deleted objects only if you select Edit&rarr;Undo immediately after Delete.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Work Coordinate System (WCS) cannot be deleted.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You cannot delete a curve that was previously used to sweep a solid, without first deleting the solid.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

                  <p class="para_note_body">You may want to save the part before beginning a Delete procedure, so that you can restore the part file and start over, if necessary. </p>

      <p class="para_topic">If an object that you select for deletion is the parent of linked geometry in another part, a Notification message asks you to OK or Cancel the operation. The message also has an Information option if you need more details about the links that will be broken. See the Assembles Help for more information about WAVE and interpart links.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If an Object selected for deletion has a dependent free form feature, that feature will lose its pre-set parameters when the parent is deleted. You can define the environment variable UGII_DUMBIFY_FEATURE=0 if you prefer to automatically delete the dependent free form feature with its parent. </p>
