               <p class="para_td">Many times you or your supplier may have copies of a similar part, but have named them differently due to local naming conventions. <b class="uiTerm">Part Name Mapping</b> allows you to put a part into collaboration even if it did not meet the same&ndash;name criteria for automatic placement in collaboration.

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">We provide the filtering mechanism (<b class="uiTerm">All</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Parts in Collaboration</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Parts not in Collaboration</b>) as a convenience if you have a large number of open parts.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Mapped Name for Part</b> box becomes active when you select a part that needs to be mapped.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The name you enter must match the name of an opened part of another participant(s). Their part does not have to be in collaboration. If you type the name incorrectly, no mapping occurs.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">Make sure you check your <b class="uiTerm">PIC</b> list to validate the mapping happened as expected.

      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Once the part maps, your display will show your local name and the mapped name in your PIC List. The other participant PIC list will just show their part name.</p>
