      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Custom Views</b> dialog boxes, <b class="uiTerm">Orient View</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Replace View</b>, provide an easy way to manage your user-defined and NX-provided views. These two dialog boxes have similar options that determine how to orient and scale the current view. Display them using one of the following methods:
      </p>

            <p class="para_item">In the graphics window, right-click and choose <b class="uiTerm">Orient View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Custom Views</b>.

            <p class="para_item">In the graphics window, right-click and choose <b class="uiTerm">Replace View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Custom Views</b>.

               <p class="para_td">NX orients the view and fits it to the current view bounds. This is the default setting for both <b class="uiTerm">View Orient</b> or <b class="uiTerm">View Replace</b> operations.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">In the <b class="uiTerm">Replace View</b> dialog box, the <b class="uiTerm">Fit</b> check box determines whether the replacing view will be adjusted to fit to the view bounds or not.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">You can set the <b class="uiTerm">Fit</b> option as a startup setting with the user-defined session variable, UG_viewFittingOption.
               </p>
            </td>

               <p class="para_td">This option is on the <b class="uiTerm">Orient View</b> dialog box only.

               <p class="para_td">NX orients the view but does not change the scale like the <b class="uiTerm">Fit </b>option. Instead, NX maintains the current view scale. Therefore, the new orientation has the same scale as the previous orientation.
               </p>
