      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Use the <b class="uiTerm">Group</b> command to group objects and manage a complex part easily. When a part consists of grouped objects, it enhances the selection process. You can identify individual objects to create a group and add to an existing group. You can select curves, sketches, solid bodies, sheet bodies, points, datums and so on as objects. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can also edit grouped objects, remove objects from a group or ungroup objects and restore them to their individual status. When creating a group, you can set a unique membership property for the group so that only objects that are not already part of a group can become members of the new group.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">You lose all the data and settings within a group if you use the <b class="uiTerm">Edit</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Undo</b> option. When you use the <b class="uiTerm">Undo</b> option, the software takes you to the state immediately preceding the group operation.

      <p class="para_topic">You can create a multi-level structure if you select an existing group as one of the objects to form another group. The former then becomes a sub-group, constituting the second level of a structure. Depending on your preferences, any operation that you perform on a group member can affect the entire group.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">To access a particular group, select the group in the <b class="uiTerm">Part Navigator</b>. The groups are hidden under a folder called <b class="uiTerm">Unused Items</b>. When you select a group, any invisible members of the group are also selected. If you do not want to select the invisible members, select members of the group individually, and not the group.

                  <p class="para_note_body">The software automatically creates groups during certain operations, for example, <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Import</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Part</b> when you select <b class="uiTerm">Create New Group</b>.

                  <p class="para_td">A member is an object belonging to a group. An object can be a member of a group that is in a component. You cannot select a component of an assembly, or a boundary object as a group member.</p>
