               <p class="para_td">Selected Printer/Profile shows the current plotter whose profile is being modified.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Usually kept at 100% for most images, can be adjusted as required. Preserve line width allows line thicknesses to remain static regardless of image scale. </p>

               <p class="para_th">Print Background Color </p>
            </th>
            <td colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">A background color is specified in CGM files generated for plotting, and in many cases, this background color is not white. You can set the Print Background Color option to No to avoid printing the background color. In this case, you can toggle on option Invert White Objects on White Background to print white geometry in black so it is visible on white paper.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Only affects the information reflected in the dialog. The actual plot will remain unaffected. </p>

               <p class="para_td">Define default resolution for selected plotter. </p>

               <p class="para_td">For PostScript printers only, you can set line cap (ends) and joining styles.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Linecap: </p>

                     <p class="para_item">Butt Cap is a flat end. </p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Round Cap is a round end. </p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Projecting Square Cap is square.</p>
                  </li>

               <p class="para_td">Linejoin: </p>
               <ul>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Miter Join extends the outside edge of each line to the intersection of that line or the miter limit, whichever comes first. </p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Round Join draws a radius from one outside edge to the other outside edge of joining lines. </p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Bevel Join connects the outer edges of the joined lines. </p>
                  </li>
               </ul>
               <p class="para_td">Miter Limit:  Miter joints have an extension limit. This keeps low angle lines from projecting their joints too far. </p>

               <p class="para_th">Pen Mappings</p>
            </th>
            <td colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">Displays the Pen Setup dialog so you can define a virtual pen mapping that maps the physical pens to pen positions you specify. This option is supported for HPGL printers only. In defining the virtual mapping, you do not modify the color or width of pens, but for each virtual pen, you can set the Map To entry field to specify the associated physical pen.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Displays the Advanced Settings dialog so you can set options that control dither techniques, gamma correction, CGM rendering, application of headers and trailers, and other advanced features. This option is supported for RTL printers only.</p>
