      <p class="para_topic"> You can rotate a view using a variety of interactive techniques. The Rotate View dialog contains the following options:</p>

               <p class="para_td"> The simplest way to select a rotation axis is by clicking one of these icons. X-Axis, Y-Axis, Z-Axis, and XY-Axes.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Arbitrary Rotation Axis</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Specify any piece of geometry as the rotation axis. This option brings up the Vector Constructor.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Specify a rotation vector using the Vector Constructor. The default is the Y-Axis of the view, but you can specify a new &quot;view up vector&quot; that corresponds to a piece of geometry that appears vertical in an isometric view.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Rotate a view with a Fixed Axis option by entering a value in the Angle Increment field.</p>

                           <p class="para_note"> View\Rotate Angle Increment only takes whole numbers not decimal angles. An error message will appear; &quot;Real value in Angle Increment will be truncated, Do you want to continue?&quot; Change the value to whole number or the system will automatically adjust to the nearest whole number.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Starts a continuous rotation of the view when you click OK or Apply in the Rotate View dialog.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> The Lock Vertical Axis option is a session option, so it applies to views in all parts in the session.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Orientation</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Allows you to change the aspect of the view to that of one of the canned views. Note that this option does not actually change the view to one of the canned views. The original view and view name are retained</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Fit After Orient</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Controls whether the system automatically performs a Fit operation after you have used the Orientation option to change the view aspect.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Rotating a View</div>
      <p class="para_division"> To rotate a view:  </p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Select View&rarr;Operation&rarr;Rotate.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Select one of the Fixed Axis options.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Move the Rotation cursor to the view you want.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Drag the view while you press and hold down MB1. As you drag, the view rotates around the specified axis and the scroll bar in the Rotate View dialog displays values that correspond to the rotation.</p>
