      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Use the Custom Widths dialog to edit custom widths for plotting or for CGM export, and to create and modify text-format width definition files (WDFs) that define custom widths.</p>

               <p class="para_td">There are three pairs of entry fields for you to specify a name and a numeric width value for each of three custom widths.  These custom values are applied in place of the thin, normal, and thick values.</p>

               <p class="para_td">With Custom Palette, you can define a custom palette that maps widths to color indices.</p>

                     <p class="para_item">Color Index List:  A multi-selection list that presents color indices 1 through 216, along with the width assigned to each index.  </p>

                     <p class="para_item">Assign Width:  Use the buttons and real entry field to assign a width to color indices selected in the Color Index List.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Color Sample:  The option menu, drawing area, and label indicate the color associated with a single index selected in the Color Index List.</p>
