      <p class="para_topic"> Use this option to construct or locate points at the control points of geometric objects. The control points, which vary for each object type, include:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Existing points</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Endpoints of conics</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Endpoints and midpoints of open arcs</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Center points of circles</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Midpoints and endpoints of lines</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Endpoints and knot points of splines</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Poles of splines (when the control polygon is displayed)</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic"> Use the cursor to select objects. Since some objects have more than one control point, place the cursor near the control point you want to select. A circle has only one control point (at its center). The system locates the control point nearest the position where you select the curve.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  The default behavior for Control Point is the same as that of Cursor Location. This means, for example, that if you are creating curves using Control Point, and you locate your cursor away from all existing control points, the system, unable to find a control point will by default create one for you at your cursor location. You can use this behavior to create points and curves without selecting the control point of an existing object.</p>
