      <p class="para_topic">Data is organized and displayed in folders in Teamcenter. These folders are not related to directories or folders in the operating system. They are more analogous to &ldquo;shortcuts&rdquo; on your computer desktop that store virtual pointers to the real data.</p>

      </table><br><p class="para_topic">By default, users will start with folders named Home, Mailbox, and Newstuff. You can create as many folders as you want to organize your view of the models you are working on.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Folders can be used as personal storage areas, but they can also be shared between users.</p>
