      <p class="para_topic">NX allows you to open multiple part files at the same time. You may have loaded these parts explicitly (through File&rarr;Open) or implicitly as a result of a part being referenced by a loaded assembly.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The part currently displayed in the graphics window is called the displayed part. You can change which loaded or partially loaded part is the displayed part.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">To make one of the parts on the Window List the currently displayed part:</p>
      <div class="title_division">If the List Contains Ten Parts or Less</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select it from the list using the mouse, or</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter its number. To select the tenth NX part, enter 0, not 10.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">If the List Contains More Than Ten Parts</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Window&rarr;More... This displays the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('managing_a_part/win_chgdisppart_d.html');return(false);">Change Displayed Part Dialog</a>. Use it to select any part in the list box.

         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Displayed Parts That Are Assemblies</div>
      <p class="para_division">When the displayed part is an assembly, you can change the work part to any of the components within the assembly. You can also display the assembly work part with emphasis. Emphasis means a different brightness than the other components in the assembly.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Displayed Parts That Are Sub-Assemblies</div>
      <p class="para_division">If the current displayed part is a component or sub-assembly in an assembly, NX maintains the current work part as the work part within the newly displayed assembly part as long as the following are true:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You have selected the Maintain Work Part check box on the Assemby Preferences dialog (Preferences&rarr;Assemblies). For more information, see Assemblies Help.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You are in a mode where design-in-context is available.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
