      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The Materials Library Navigator is an archive library of materials created by LightWorks Design. This archive is a repository of a large number of materials, lights, and scene geometry &quot;props&quot;. These items can be a starting point for any expert interested in preparing his or her palette for a rendering task.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Navigation</div>
      <p class="para_division">To make navigation easy, NX represents this archive library as a tree structure which includes a preview pane, allowing you to preview materials before you copy them to the Materials in Part palette.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Adding a Third-Party Library of Materials</div>
      <p class="para_division">With NX, you can have access to a large library of materials provided by LightWorks. You may want to augment the provided material library with smaller collections of materials that are industry specific provided by third party vendors, such as Moldtech.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Operations in this Palette</div>
      <div class="title_division">Adding and Deleting Materials</div>
      <ul>

            <p class="para_item">You can't add to or delete materials from the Materials Library Navigator.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Previewing Materials</div>

            <p class="para_item">You can preview an archive material using the preview pane.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Copying Materials</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To copy materials to your working Materials in Part palette, open both the Materials Library Navigator and Materials in Part palettes at the same time. Then, copy materials from an archive to the Materials in Part palette.</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To select more than one archive materials at a time and copy them to the Materials in Part palette, use the Shift and Ctrl keys.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you copy a material to the Materials in Part palette, the system creates a new material and renames it by adding an index at the end (1), (2), (3), etc.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Editing Materials</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can't modify an archive material in this palette. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Applying Materials</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can apply a material directly to a part.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you map an archive material to a surface, the system automatically adds it to the Materials in Part palette and creates a thumbnail for visual reference.</p>
         </li>
