      <p class="para_topic"> When you select this option, the system restricts model motion to a single axis or degree of freedom. It applies one of the following motions at any moment.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Rotation about the X axis</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Rotation about the Y axis</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Rotation about the Z axis</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Panning along the X axis</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Panning along the Y axis</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Zooming</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic"> The type of motion that the system applies is determined by the dominant user action. For example, if pressure on the SpaceBall indicates zooming more strongly than other motion, then only zooming is applied. This feature allows for more precise model manipulation.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> When you clear this option, the system does not restrict model motion to a single axis or degree of freedom.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Customer Default</div>
      <p class="para_division"> The system does not save the Single Axis Filter setting, but for each session initializes the setting according to a customer default. </p>
