      <p class="para_topic"> Selecting Save As displays the Save Work View dialog. All views are listed, canned views first, followed by user-defined views in alphabetical order. The current work view is highlighted in the list box.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> After you have saved your file, the current display becomes the  <em>original view</em> for subsequent View operations. Choose Restore to revert back to the original view.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"> After entering a new name and choosing OK or Apply, the system creates a copy of the work view and saves it under the new name. The view name display is updated and a confirmation message displays in the status area.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> If the name you entered contains invalid characters, an error box displays with a message requesting you to enter a new name.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> Select OK and enter a name that has only valid characters. Valid characters for a view name, are alphabetic characters A through Z, numeric characters 0 - 9, and the following special characters: &quot;.&quot; (period), &quot;-&quot; (hyphen), &quot;_&quot;(underscore), &quot;#&quot; (pound sign), &quot;&amp;&quot; (ampersand), and &quot;/&quot; (slash). You can enter a space character. The name can be up to 30 characters in length.</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> If the name you entered already exists, an error box displays asking you to enter a new name.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Move View Dependent</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Move View Dependent allows you to move any objects created in view dependent mode in the view to the new view. This option toggles between OFF and ON. Remember, if you select this option, these objects will no longer exist in the old work view.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Copy View Modified</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Copy View Modified allows you to copy any view dependent modifications to the new view. This option toggles between ON and OFF. Note that the system does not copy any dimensions or drafting objects even if they are view dependent modifications. You must use the Move View Dependent option to reflect these objects in the view.</p>
      <p class="para_division"> When saving a view under a new name, it must be just that - a  <em>new</em> name.

                  <p class="para_note_body">  When you save one of the eight canned views with the same name, any edits you have made to the orientation of the original view are not saved. For example, if you rotate a TOP view in such a way that the view appears to take a RIGHT view orientation, and then save that view using the same name (TOP), the original TOP view orientation is saved,  <em>not</em> the rotated view.
