      <p class="para_topic"> To start Author HTML:</p>

      <p class="para_topic"> This displays the Author HTML dialog. The Author HTML dialog requires two basic parameters: the name and location of the template file, and the name and location for the target HTML file.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Use the Apply To option to specify whether the template is applied at the assembly level or to each component of an assembly. To dump an HTML file for each component of an assembly, but not manually switch between components, use Each Component. (The function changes the work part and then executes the template. To get different output files for each component, use the embedded &lt;@UGFILE...&gt; command .) To dump an HTML file for an entire assembly, use Assembly.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Use this option to specify the name and location of output file. The initial default is the work part name with an HTML extension in the current directory. (For Windows, the extension is .HTM instead of .HTML.) A label beneath the option button displays the current designation.</p>

               <p class="para_td"> Specifies the name and location of the template file you want to use to build the HTML file. The initial default value for the template is &quot;None&quot;. The default extension for template files is &quot;.htt&quot;, which stands for &quot;hyper text template.&quot;</p>
               <p class="para_td"> You can make the values for the template and output filenames and other associated data from the dialog available in a template file using the &lt;@UGVAR...&gt; command.</p>
               <p class="para_td"> During the execution of a template from the Author HTML dialog, the system displays messages in the Information window. Messages can include both errors and status messages. You can turn status messages on or off using the &lt;@UGDEBUG ...&gt; command.</p>
