            <p class="para_item"> The HTML file spec ($HSPEC) is the target output file from the user interface dialog or from the Open C and C++ API entry point. For example, if the full HTML file spec was:</p>
            <p class="para_item">   /this/that/other.html</p>
            <p class="para_item"> Then, HTML Directory = /this/that HTML File name = other.html</p>
            <p class="para_item"> These variables can be used in a template in order to find the names and directories for output files, such as shaded images and VRML data files.</p>

            <p class="para_item"> Similar logic shown with the HTML file spec ($HSPEC) applies to the template directory and name being a part of the full template file specification ($TSPEC). The template file is the file specified as the template in the interactive dialog, or through a parameter to the Open C and C++ API routine.</p>
