      <p class="para_topic"> You can view an NX part through one of two projection modes: Parallel or Perspective. You also can use the Perspective command in the View toolbar for the work view. </p>
      <div class="title_division"> Parallel Projection</div>
      <p class="para_division"> The system default is parallel projection. When an object is viewed in parallel projection, the object is not foreshortened with distance. All parallel lines are shown parallel regardless of their distance from the viewer.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Perspective Projection</div>
      <p class="para_division"> The Perspective option allows you to change from the system default Parallel projection to Perspective projection. When objects are viewed using perspective projection, they appear smaller as they are farther away. All parallel lines have the same &quot;vanishing point.&quot; For example, if the parallel lines are on the ground (like railroad tracks), the vanishing point (the place where the tracks come together) is on the horizon.</p>

      <p class="para_division"> Perspective Projection, Object Foreshortened</p>
      <p class="para_division"> The Perspective toggle turns perspective ON and OFF.</p>
      <p class="para_division"> The Distance text field allows you to change the distance between your eye and the object. A reasonable initial value for this field is that of the Front Clipping plane.</p>
      <p class="para_division"> Change View Origin and Change Eye Point both allow you to change the object's center point. This is the center of the object if you look at it with your head straight and your eyes pointed directly forward. Choosing either of these options displays the  <em>Point Constructor</em> dialog with the current perspective center point displayed as the XC, YC, ZC default. Note that these options work only when Perspective is turned ON and the Distance is greater than zero (0).
      </p>
      <p class="para_division"> Perspective settings are saved in the part file, and when a new view is created, Perspective is initialized to OFF.  </p>
