      <hr noshade="true"><a name="ndxgenid_roadmap604"></a><p class="para_topic">Features from the I-deas model will be migrated to NX features. In most cases, this will be straightforward, such as mapping I-deas Extrude features into NX Extrude features.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">There may be times when you want to check not only which types of I-deas features were mapped to which NX features, but also to find the specific I-deas feature that was mapped to an NX feature. There are two ways to check this.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The first way to check how features are mapped is to read the detailed report that is generated during migration. This report lists each I-deas feature by name and displays the name of the resulting new NX feature.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Within NX, feature mapping can be displayed in the <b class="uiTerm">Part Navigator</b>. Each feature in the migrated part contains a comment field that contains the name of it's source feature from I-deas. Turn on the comments column by right-clicking in the <b class="uiTerm">Part Navigator</b>.

      <p class="para_division">Unparameterized features (the equivalent of orphan features in I-deas) will be found in migrated .prt files. These features are used both to display the entire boundary representation (B-Rep) and to incorporate any specific features that did not migrate properly or features not supported for migration.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The unparameterized feature can be used as a guide to rebuild the feature in question. You may then suppress or delete the unparamaterized feature.</p>
